From the moment you pull into the driveway of our luxury and remote vacation rental in Costa Rica to the moment you open the door to the villa, you will feel like you found your escape to quietness and privacy where disconnection from the world or dive into remote work or school will be easier than you thought.
Our vacation rental villa is only a 30-45 minute drive from the tourist town of Tamarindo and only 1.5h away from Liberia Daniel Oduber Quiros international airport.
For those who travel and still need to work, Out of Office Villa is very well suited to accommodate that with fiber optics internet speeds reaching up to 100mbs. If you want to change the scenery from the home office to the tropical landscape with the pool, our vacation villa is the right choice for you.
You will be able to observe and greet wildlife visitors around our vacation house rental in Costa Rica - howler monkeys, iguanas, butterflies, parrots, hawks - all while sunbathing on the deck. Or maybe as you stroll around the property you decide to go for a light hike in the preserved estuary that borders the villa.
One of the longest Costa Rica's beaches, Playa Junquillal, is an easy 15-minute walk from our vacation rental in Guanacaste. You can stroll to the beach through the neighborhood's tropical dry forest or you can drive up to the beach in 5-7 minutes.
Clear your head and mind while watching and listening to the Pacific Ocean waves. Or go all-out surfing, boogie boarding, or jumping the waves to experience the power of the ocean. You can also enjoy snorkeling when the tide is low at the adjacent beach Playa Blanca.

Traveling to Out of Office Villa
There are two main airports in Costa Rica - San Jose Juan Santamaria International airport and Liberia Daniel Oduber Quirós International airport. It will take about 4h to drive from San Jose to Playa Junquillal, depending on traffic. And about 1.5h drive from Liberia.
You have a couple of options:

We recommend renting a car, especially if you want to take additional trips during your stay with us. During the high season in Guanacaste (November-April) we advise you to book several weeks in advance because of the influx of tourists to the country during those months. In addition, through the COVID-era, a lot of car rental places sold their inventory and you may not have a big selection if you book too close to your trip.

For an additional fee, you can book a private chauffeur who can pick you up and drop you off at the airport and take you to various activities. Please let us know and we'll help arrange this service for you. This option is more limiting for you to get around on your own, but if you plan to stay at the villa most of the time, it's a good way to save on your rental car budget.
Our property is located in Playa Junquillal's Tierra Pacifica Community. We advise you to use Google Maps or Waze to get directions to it. If you do not want to use mobile data services while traveling, we suggest that you download the area map to your mobile devices before your trip.
Tierra Pacifica guards at the gate will ask for all of the guests' names and will note the car license plate so they could recognize you during your stay with us.
